Storage2go brings the mobile storage to you. You load and unload on your own schedule at your own pace for as long as you need it. You can store at your place or ours if needed. No more truck rentals, time restrictions, and loading ramps. This is a great alternative when your time and resources are limited.
How many units do I need?
An 8’x16” unit will approximately fit 3 rooms of household items. An example of this would be three bedrooms, or two bedrooms and a kitchen.
Are the units secure?
Yes, the Storage2go container is made of steel for strength and durability. The weatherproof unit features a solid steel frame, roof and insulated steel paneled walls.
What areas can you deliver to?
We can deliver to most locations in the Redding, Red Bluff and Chico and their local surrounding areas. Call for a quote.
How is mystorage2go unit moved?
The Storage2go delivery system is designed to accommodate access to a variety of homes and businesses. The unit is transported on a custom truck and robotic system that can facilitate most locations.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept check, cash, money order, Visa and MasterCard. We also offer auto pay which charges your designated credit card every month for your convenience.
Does Storage2go respond to emergencies where a portable storage unit is needed?
Absolutely! Should your water heater burst, a tree fall on your roof, or any unforeseen emergency take place, Storage2go can be there to help protect your belongings as long as you need it.
Can Storage2go be used for special events, functions, or parties?
Yes, Storage2go is perfect for keeping party preparation supplies safe and out of the elements.
Do I need insurance?
It is highly recommended that you carry insurance on your stored belongings. You may check with your current homeowners policy to find out about coverage information. Insurance is the responsibility of the tenant.
If I store a unit at my place where does it go?
A Storage2go unit can go wherever you like it inside your property. Our delivery system needs to be able to access where you want it placed.
Can I access my Storage2go unit at your facility?
Yes, you can access your unit 7am to 8pm, 7 days a week with no advance notice.
When can you deliver a Storage2go unit?
In most circumstances we can deliver or pick up a unit within 24 hours of request.
Can I use Storage2go for my business?
Yes, many businesses use our service for construction, retail, tradeshows and inventory. Call us for information on having Storage2go help in the success of your business.
How much space do I need to use a Storage2go unit?
To place a unit at your location we need a clearance of 12 feet in width and 15 feet of height with no steep inclines, low branches, or low hanging wires.
Do I need to be there when the unit is delivered?
No, we do however recommend someone be present to designate placement of the unit. If you can not be present at the delivery it is your responsibility to make sure that payment and signing of the lease have been finalized prior to drop off.
Do I supply my own lock?
Yes, it is your responsibility to supply a lock for your container. We can help assist in bringing you a lock for your convenience.
What can not be stored in a Storage2go unit?
We prohibit any hazardous material to be stored in the unit. We ask that you do not store live animals, propane tanks, gas cans, aerosol cans, firearms, ammunition, gasoline, or any other flammable liquid. We suggest you not to store any precious, invaluable, or irreplaceable documents or property. The storage of food related items are also not permitted.
How long do I have to unload the unit?
You may keep the Storage2go unit for as long as you need to unless otherwise defined in the rental agreement.
What if I don’t need a container for a full month?
No problem, we offer an affordable daily or monthly rate to accommodate your own personal storage needs.
Is Storage2go more expensive than traditional moving and storage?
Many people understand the cost effectiveness of using portable storage. Time is valuable and with portable storage there is no more loading and unloading your items. Without rental truck fees, fuels cost, and mileage cost it is easy to see that portable storage is not more expensive but rather more affordable and convenient.
